![]() But the mouse recordings doesn't go through like they do on geforce now which was a bummer. I would like to be able to mimic what nvidia has done but for my own machines. I've gone off topic quite a bit here but I've built such an interest in the cloud gaming part. ![]() I know its not the same thing I'm just curious on how I would make it work. I really thought it would work since it works with geforce now etc. I tried it but mouse macros and recorded movements didn't work unforteunatly. I just found out about Parsec, it's basically a cloudgaming service but you can set up your own computer as the one you're connecting to. I would assume that, depending on the game, emulated mouse input either isn't visible to the game or even explicitly ignored (to prevent cheating). Haven't really tried how well it works with games and e.g. Last time I used it, input was a bit laggy. Not sure how playable it is with something like Synergy. It sound like you just want to redirect all input to another PC. If you're close enough to the TV to see its screen, you should be close enough to be able to connect your laptop to it. I'd say the more typical scenario would be to connect the laptop to the TV and then use the computer to run the game with an in-home streaming solution. Something like Steam In-Home streaming might work (never really tried it). Input and output happens on the same machine though. The idea behind cloud gaming is to be able to play on a relatively weak machine by having a more powerful PC somewhere on the network do all the heavy lifting. That's not quite the same as cloud gaming though. This is very off topic but I'm quite interested in this. It would be like using my main computer as my own cloudgaming computer but I still use it's screen. This is just a scenario and the solution im looking for is very overkill. But wan't it to controll the computer on the tv (main). I have my laptop available and just plug mouse keyboard into it. ![]() There is nothing similar I could do? Lets say I plug my main computer into my tv, I want to play games but cables don't reach the sofa. How does cloudgaming such as geforce now and stadia make it so the mouse input goes directly from your machine onto the machine you're connected to? Would it be possible to do something like this in my case whereas I would plug the mouse into the laptop and just controll this computer? I know of anydesk and these programs but they could be quite laggy at times. I see, that makes a lot of sense actually. This means there is nothing for AHK to interact with. All mouse input is redirected to the other computer. This means once you move the cursor away, your computer behaves as if no mouse is present. Software like Synergy has to intercept those inputs before Windows can react to them and forward them to another machine, to make the cursor move on that machine instead. Think about it like this: Normally your mouse sends movement commands to Windows. You need to install AHK on both machines and make it do whatever you want on that particular machine. ![]() It can only control the mouse/keyboard on your local machine. The software KVM forwards mouse inputs to the other computer once your mouse leaves the screen. They just don't work.īecause it's a different computer. As I have my mouse plugged into my main computer all these recorded mousemovements work (I mostly use AHK for this) -but when I move the mouse over to the other monitor (Second pc). ![]() I use AHK and other type of recorded mouse movement etc. Really hard to explain without complicating things. I don't want the mouse to move around the laptops screen and press stuff accidentaly but rather have it so I could use the mouse recordings and the cursor on the main computer would move to these recordins and also move around as I move the mouse around. Does it even work? Is there a program to use that would mimic the mouse movement from one of the computer to the other without messing about with the first computers screen, lets say I have my mouse plugged into my laptop. None makes any difference to the problem I have, I've tried different macro/script recorders but doesn't work either. I've tried 5 different KVM softwares such as synergy, ShareMouse, Input Director and Mouse without Borders. I love the idea of this and I use it everyday. So I've recently been introduced to these Software KVM's that lets you connect two computers and use one of them as if it would be a second monitor. ![]()
